Lemon and lime slices do not float in water because they are denser than water. The density of the fruit slices is higher than that of water, causing them to sink rather than float. Additionally, the air pockets within the fruit slices may not be large enough to provide enough buoyancy to keep them afloat. **

Slices of sausage are typically round because they are formed by being extruded through a casing, which results in a cylindrical shape that is then sliced. On the other hand, slices of cheese are square because they are typically cut from a block or wheel of cheese, which naturally has a square or rectangular shape. Additionally, square slices of cheese are easier to stack and package compared to round slices. **

Yes, bacon slices can potentially cause botulism if not handled and stored properly. Botulism is a rare but serious illness caused by a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This bacterium can thrive in low-oxygen environments, such as vacuum-sealed or tightly wrapped packages of bacon. To prevent the risk of botulism, it is important to properly store bacon in the refrigerator or freezer and to cook it thoroughly before consuming. **

Slices of toast do not fly on their own. However, if they are thrown or propelled with enough force, they can appear to "fly" through the air for a short distance. The shape and weight of the toast, as well as the force and angle at which it is thrown, will determine how far and in what manner it travels through the air. **

Preserved lemon slices are made by first cutting the lemons into thin slices and then packing them in a jar with salt. The salt draws out the moisture from the lemons, which helps to preserve them. Additional flavorings such as spices or herbs can also be added to the jar. The jar is then sealed and left to sit at room temperature for a few days, allowing the lemons to ferment and develop their unique flavor. After this fermentation process, the preserved lemon slices can be stored in the refrigerator for several months. **

Pizza slices typically have a triangular shape, with a wider base where the crust is and a pointed tip. This shape allows for easy handling and eating of the pizza slice. The triangular shape also helps to evenly distribute the toppings and cheese across the slice. **

Small dogs can have pizza slices in moderation, but it is not recommended as a regular part of their diet. Pizza is typically high in fat, salt, and can contain ingredients that may be harmful to dogs, such as onions and garlic. It is important to ensure that any pizza given to a small dog is plain, with no toppings that could be toxic to them. It's always best to consult with a veterinarian before feeding human food to pets. **
